In John C Maxwell’s book “Attitude 101:What Every Leader Needs To Know” John talks about the “five truths about attitudes”(Maxwell, 2010)

1. Attitudes have the power to lift up or tear down a team
2. An attitude compounds when exposed to others
3. Bad attitudes compound faster than good ones
4. Attitudes are subjective, so identifying a wrong one can be difficult
5. Rotten attitudes, left alone, ruin everything (Maxwell) 

Good attitude is the foundation of a solid team, as a leader how can you continue to keep it positive? If it’s not, how are going to change it? “If you care about your team and you are committed to helping all the players, you can not ignore a bad attitude”. (John C. Maxwell)
